Fly Tying the Common Black Beetle

There is still some time left to fish terrestrials this summer. If you've never fished a black beetle before, you just might be surprised at its effectiveness. We've taken all manner of freshwater species on this bug... perch, trout, bass, carp, etc. This is a very simple pattern to tie and once you're proficient with it, you can probably knock 1 out every few minutes. Enjoy! Please let us know what pattern(s) you'd like to see in the future in this series. If we choose a pattern you suggest, we'll give you a shoutout in that video! Thanks again! - The Team at WTRR
